Educators value the involvement and support of parents, guardians, families and communities in schools.
For all of my practicums, I have written letters to the parents, guardians, or important adults of the students I will be teaching to let them know who I am and why I will be there. I believe that it is very important to open a line of communication with student’s adults as they are the primary caregivers to these little people and it’s their right to know who their children are learning from.
